Yay packages!
On my way out the door to my exam this morning, I ran into the postal delivery guy. He had *3* packages for me! (well, one was also for my brother) All from my mum.
Went grocery shopping post exam, and then went home to open them...
Easter package for Matt and I included some good kitchen knives (we were in need..), and lots of candy and chocolate <3
Birthday packages for me included sock, panties, and tank tops (i was in need..), some craft foam stuff (will be used as placemats for the cat's eating area, as Tristan can't chew over the bowl if his life depends on it..), and...
*drumroll*
VEGETABLE STEAMER! (/rice cooker).
LOVE IT.
I'm so determined to start cooking more real meals this summer... I am developing quite the collection of awesometastic kitchen appliances, I need to UUUUSSSEEEEE them.
Last summer I only used my crock pot ONCE! (really, I think I've only used it 3 times since I got it a few years ago!!)
okay, one exam left... time to dredge up some dwindling motivation to study....
(oh, i'm wearing my awesome bubblegum pink skirt today. it makes me happy :) yay skirt weather!)
