ah, the joys of domesticity
i forgot how relaxing sewing is.
yesterday after classes, me n the gang made the usual wallingford circut (curiosity shop, wentworth's, redscroll, salval, and walgreen's), and i snagged this cute pink cirlce-y skirt from salval for $4. when i tried it on at home, it was a weird length, so i cut the bottom and spent the rest of the afternoon hemming it by hand and making a loli head eating bow from the extra. just sitting there doing something so methodical with my hands like that felt so nice. i decided to do it more often, so i went to sublime stiching and ordered that embroidery kit i keep wanting to buy. as soon as it gets here, i'm gonna be enbroidering like a motherfucker. fo sho.
