Yahaaa

Whoooo. I'm half-alive.

Nothing much happened lately except for Unisa nearly failing my last semester just because they failed to received one of my assignments and they refuse to accept it after informing me to resubmit again. Why telling me to resubmit my paper if it isn't going to be accepted? : / And lol I've forgotten to bring my camera charger back from Suriamas and used up most of the battery life during CF a day before the trip, so I have to borrow my cousin's during the whole trip. orz Sibeh lao beh memory la can.

We arrived in Phuket on the 19th during noon, and the first meal we had there was.. *jeng* Pork rice. |D Afterwards, our tour guide bring us around the tourist shops and whatnot nearby the airport to kill time before dinner.

Not Dr Pornthip ok.

One of the shops have a young elephant calf infront of the store to attract customers, and its quite effective! The baby elephant is so adorable and it kept swaying its tusk playfully looking for food. :D

The shops itself is nothing special, its just exactly like any typical tourist shops with the usual items like postcards, souvenirs you can find anywhere and other miscellaneous stuffs. But the traditional outfits there is quite interesting. And some questionable items are there too. Questionable as in.. 'sexual' lololol. orzzz

My family consists of a bunch of enthusiastic posers, which somehow didn't work on me because I hate being infront of any camera 8D;;;

That said questionable item in the shop. This one is quite mild compared to the many even more questionable ones there. Haha. *cough cough*

After that, the tor guide insist on bringing us to a temple to visit. Every tourist who come to Phuket are somehow being pushed to visit this particular temple. Ha. But the temple itself is very beautiful and tranquil. Actually there are more locals praying here than random tourists visiting here.

By the time we came out from the temple we're already very tired. ;;; We drank bowls of birds nest soup and headed to our hotel.

Our hotel was located in a rather small rural area.

Our hotel so happened to be in the middle of many shoplots that mostly comprised of restaurants, boutiques and those massage saloon that kind of make Thailand as famous as it is now. Those massage saloons always have a bunch of women sitting outside the shop and calling out to (mostly) male customers as they offer more than just traditional Thai massage. Those 'extra service' can be anything from escort services to temporary 'girlfriends' and to those really.. er.. *desperate* males, prostitution services are also provided. So yeah the massage saloon is more than what meets the eye. Eh, in a way.

We woke up very early next day to catch a ferry trip to one of the islands (Which name I've forgotten. How convenient).

First there is a cat. 8D

O hai.

Our plan is to catch a ferry to one of the smaller islands to go snorkeling (fishes! <3) and being lazy on the beach. Yup.

One loaf of bread for fishes for RM4. Apalah wei. Most of the people who are there will buy few loaves of breads. Feeding the fish isn't quite like feeding any another animals. Its quite oddly satisfying to feel the fishes nibbling the bread (and your fingers) off your hands. :D

The island itself is quite small. Its rather tranquil as there isn't many people here. Which is perfect. There aren't many fishes though.

For the next few days are mostly spent window shopping on the main island and doing the usual tourist-y things. There are quite a lot bars and clubs here and most of the shops here seem to cater to drunk men. @.@ On the last day though we went to a nearby night market for dinner and last minute souvenir shopping.

Fooooooooooooooood. Everywhere. Thailand's night market is quite similar to our Pasar Malam. Satay, chicken rice, jagung and other foods on mini stalls. O3O And its cheap too ohohohohoho

Satay! Banyak satay sini oi! :9

Small egg popiah thing. Its so cute haha.

No night market is complete without sweetcorn. :9

But the best food isn't sweetcorn, satay or even Thai fried rice. The best food (At least, that's what my family and I thought) is...

Jeng jeng jeng.

McD's Pork burger. Why leh? Because we rarely eat pork burgers *paiseh* The only place that sells pork burger in Malaysia is Ninja Joe. Lol. So being the sakais out from jungle we are, the sight of McD's and Burger King selling genuine pork burger is quite rare la ok. Even
Singapore also don't have that many choices of pork burgers wei. And usually people don't visit chained restaurants on holiday trips. Except us. Because its pork... And pork is rare. O3O

And that is our last meal lol. It kinda fits our lack-of-pork lifestyle hahaha. Not really la. I so happened to got fever on the day before the trip and thus I can't enjoy the trip as much as its suppose to be. D: My luck is just that incredible lar.

And 2 more weeks to CNY! O3O I'm not going back to my hometown this year sob. Too much things to do *coughspringcleaning* and *coughunistuffs* to do. Aihhh.

trip, crap
