On Vox: A miracle of sorts

Jun 22, 2007 21:30

Something monumental has occurred on this very day, on this very fine day. I fixed my old 3rd generation iPod. All this time I thought it was a lost cause trying to revive this piece of beautiful crap. Turns out all I had to do was stick a business card inside the stupid thing. Reading technogeek newsfeeds really do help in life, it seems. But now I'm going to have to figure out what to do with two functional iPods. I'll probably stick with the video, since the old one seems to get really hot when I play music on it. Hot plate, anyone?

(You might think I'd be completely turned off from Apple products, but that's where you're wrong. If this MacBook dies, you bet I'll buy a new one.)

I've had to work a lot lately, and I'd probably complain if I really hated my job. Oh, wait... It gets pretty ugly, especially when I have to work with ADD-stricken or smelly children. Actually, ADD usually goes hand in hand with pungent odors. It's as if the kids don't have the attention spans to rinse and repeat. Oh and recently at work I met a particular girl who has a patch of--believe me when I say this--fur on her arm. I was skeptical when I heard this from a secondhand source, but now I am a true believer. Fur is very real, people.
