Kon-El (Conner) dies. The chief reason I'm ready to bang my head on the keyboard is that right before going off to fight in the Infinite Crisis he had sex with his girlfriend, he was happy. Ergo, he had to die. It was a noble death as deaths go, but in the current climate of DC it just seemed gratuitous.

Have we heard anything from Babs? Is she okay? What's going on? What's she doing?

I hear that there is no wedding in sight, lo this jump-ahead-year-later (which I'm actually fine with and think makes sense). Did they, perchance, do any explanation of that?

I'm a moron. I've been saying for a while now that THIS is the only "shippy" icon I have. And yet, above...much with the happy.

As far as I've heard, Babs is fine and still in charge of the Birds of Prey.

Nothing yet as far as what caused the engagement to fall apart. It's unclear in the first Nightwing OYL if he and Babs are even talking to each other (but it's possible to interpret that they MAY be). But he's sleeping around and Jason Todd is also in the Nightwing costume and SAVES Dick's life. How humiliating.
