i forget about this thing...
so last weekend i was at the indy 500. ok, i worked at the indy 500. the track temp was 125. i was in an air conditioned pavillion. got hit on by drunk guys when i did go to the stands. i don't care for racing, but it's quite an event. worth just seeing. and the end was pretty damn exciting.

nest weekend i'll be up in gaylord, michigan at a music festival for work. my real job, but i won't be doing any work. just taking pictures or something. but it's like a 6 hour trip. not looking forword to that drive. maybe i won't have to be in on monday, or not have to come in a 9.
i think i'm going to order an ipod tomorrow. my 3rd gen ipod is at the end of its nearly three year life. if i don't use it for a day without plugging it in to charge, the battery dies. i think i'm going to get black. it's a tough choice. i hope i get it before i leave for the weekend.
