I got my Wacom Bamboo at Best Buy for $69. Never regretted the choice.

I don't know if you're doing a donation drive, but if you did, I would send some money. It wouldn't be a lot, but I'd manage something. :)

That is super sweet of you, but a bamboo is well within my price range. The donation is thoughtful, but if you wish to make a donation, I'd rather it go to any facility that specializes in colon cancer research and treatment. One thing my mother comments on a lot is that while it has extremely good intentions, Brest cancer awareness tends to over-shadow less "sexy" cancers, such as colon and prostate cancer.

Also throwing in my vote for Bamboo.

The Intuos4 is professional as fuck but also way more expensive and definitely over $150. Bamboo is functional and affordable.

I use an Intuos4, but I hear lots of great things about the Bamboo. I promise you any tablet Wacom makes will be worth it. I still have my very first one that I bought to use on my old Mac laptop over 10 years ago and it works fine. They are a well made product; I don't think any of the 'cheapo' tablet brands have the lasting power of a Wacom.

My company just watched on Craigslist for a used Wacom Intuos 3 (or 4) They do come up and when they come up for sale they're the same price as the Bamboo ones which are kinda rinky-dinky.
