(no subject)
So I am VERY much enjoying my Mad Science job. The kids are good, the job is a lot of fun and I get to wear a pair of fake glasses and go "MWA HA HA HA" to an age-group that appreciates that kind of immaturity.
The only major downside is that I was suppose to have three schools and one dropped due to low enrollment. I'd really like to have a few more schools to steadily visit, but I tell myself to take the two schools I'm doing now and get the hang of it, and also, I'm still getting a steady set amount of money every pay period, that helps with the utter lackluster work at my other job.
I'll probably make myself available on Thursdays as well starting in November to get a tad more work.
In other news, it is October, so this post is about an October related thing.
The first is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which while important is done so stupidly with these little facebook 'games'.
"Hey girls! Let's post our bra colors! Then guys will realize that we have breasts and TOTALLY be aware of the existence of breast cancer! Tee hee!".
Not only does this sexualize women, it doesn't actually DO anything.
Now this time around there's an obnoxious "Hey girls! Let's all say where we like to leave our purses! But don't actually SAY it's our purse and we will phrase it so it implies that we're saying where we like to have sex! Tee hee! Tee hee heee!"
This is retarded beyond words. At least with last year the bra thing made sense. This year it's just obnoxious and was no-doubt created by the same lady who writes "10 ways to please your man!" articles in Cosmo.
If anyone asks, I like my handbag up my ass.
