Random wandering update.
Came in to town today to see the doctor. He was duly impressed by the size of the stones. :) I've now had all my stitches removed, but I'm still heading back out to Mum and Dad's this evening.
By the time we'd come into town, I'd seen the doctor and we'd done half the grocery shopping I was was absolutely shattered. I decided at that point that I wasn't ready to be on my own yet. I think Mum was relieved that I'd made that decision. She wouldn't have made by go out there if I hadn't wanted to, but she didn't really want me staying here yet.
So, the current plan is to come back in on either Monday or Tuesday next week. If I can convince Dad that I won't irrevocably damage their pc by changing the dial-up settings (such that I can use my unlimited hours per month rather than their ten hour limit) I may be online while I'm away. Now that I'm managing to stay awake for more than a couple of hours at a time. :)
