it's hard to let go of a friend.
over the last week, everyone has been quietly anticipating and fearing the departure of our dear australians Chris and Stuart.
I remember the first time I met Chris. It was the first day of rez and I said "you're planning to pick up a ton of girls with that accent eh?" or some thing along those lines, and Chris was completely clueless. And now a few months have passed, and I think he realized what i meant.
It's disheartening to let someone go like that, even though you think such a thing may not affect you. Chris is a real intelligent guy, and it was great to get into arguements with him where we'd hafta agree to disagree because Monica would force us to. I am glad to be able to call Chris my friend.
New York was a great time. We really got to know each other in that atmosphere, and just be ourselves. An experience not to be forgotten.
Hold your friends close. Cherish every minute that you share with them, for without them you are nothing.
The picture above is from the first night in New York City, after we ate some authentic pizza on the upper west side, we made the climb to the top of the Empire State. This picture means a lot. One that will be held onto dearly.
a friend is a friend is a friend, through thick and thin, a real friendship can stand the test of time.
We'll miss you Chris, have a good one. And always remember...Wha happened?
Good Times...
