so i've dinged myself up
i got into a bike accident on friday....just as i was going home for christmas. was riding along parramatta road on croydon when i hit a pothole and went airbourne. woke up really out of it, teeth missing, a fistful of blood and in a stranger's car. some guys callled maurice picked me up after seeing me on the road and kindly took me to concord hospital. was in emergency for quite a few hours: had lots of xrays done and had to get a plaster on as i broke my wrist. worse bit: dinged my lip and chin pretty madly taking all the skin off...so had to get about 10 stitches on my face and lip. also chipped two of my fron teeth pretty badly so need to get those fixed. andrea, mum and melissa got to the hospital pretty quickly and took turns looking out for me. ping also came around which was nice.
so i've been at home at my parents last couple of days: doing alot better now, off the painkillers but spotting a majorly bad toothache: looks like part of the root is exposed now so it's causing a world of pain. melissa has been a gem staying and looking after with me. plus: finished watching season two of lost, and might just start watching the entire degrassi junoir high series that i bought andrea for christmas.
