Whoa, Hawaii FIve-0

I haven't had the energy for many episode reviews lately, but DAYUM DID YOU GUYS SEE THAT?

Kono, Chin, Steve and Danny all got an extra additional mega jolt of BAMF this week. Like, all the other shows that have BAMFs are having BAMF envy. Not that the team weren't all kickass before, but in case we missed the memo, they all got extra amounts of kickassery this week, and not just in the physical ways but they were smart and had to outthink their opponents.

Rachel was back! Rachel! *flails* And she is brave and lovely as she was last time. The carjacking with her and Grace was frightening to watch and unexpected. Then Danny made me all heartclenchy freaking out over them, and then there was the domino effect of Steve freaking out over Danny's freaking out, worrying about Danny and Rachel and Grace as well because I think Steve cares about them too. Grace was the only one not having a nervous breakdown. That child has an old soul.

The women on this show are amazing. The guest star was excellent -- believably scared and in need of help as a civilian would be but she does the trick with the hairspray and the lighter and she's frightened yet holds it together throughout incredibly strenous circumstances. That scene where Steve and Chin find her in the cave and she's got the shard of glass as a weapon. Wow.

Loved Kono's "I hope we get to meet her" about the witness, her admiration for the woman's resourcefulness. I liked the attorney lady too.

KONO!! "Some people have trouble with my name, let me help you out." And then the fight with the cleaner. They have done so well by her, and are doing exactly what I hoped they were going to be doing, back when I started watching the show. She's a rookie and learning, and that they'd gradually reveal more and more of her badassery and skill. They're ratcheting that up in a believable way. It's going to be fantastic to see what she's like in season 2.

Steve, you're scaring me. Going into combat mode and right, yes, Navy SEAL who did all kinds of things we don't the full story on and we may get some of those stories, we may not, but Steve is awesomely scary when he's in SEAL mode.

Chin being the hero and saving the witness and being resourceful and bamfy after losing both his gun and his cell phone and then he got a HUG at the end. CHIN!!! ♥♥♥

I...uh...there was probably something else but that's most of it, nothing left now but the keymashing and the capslocking.

This show is AMAZING. I have not said that enough lately.

flaaaaillllll, h50
