Summer ficlets and less manic Mondays
Thank you for the comments on all the manic Monday posts, guys. I'm delighted people enjoyed those, and I enjoyed doing it. ♥ Now I've been sucked into tumblr and oh dear god it's crack. The manic Monday type content is going over there now (including some of my own photographs) without any schedule at all, just a random stream of "stuff I liked." You don't need a tumblr account to go see the posts or browse around the whole site.
My Mondays usually being, well, manic, I was also getting my periodic uneasiness about not giving myself enough mental space to write fic. I've made almost no progress on my 2 spn_30snapshots tables or kissbingo table (but I wrote a ficlet last night, woot! and hope to write another one today). I blame entangled_now for giving me the idea of going for a blackout on kissbingo.
It feels weird to me that so far this year, I've only done a few longer short stories, and I haven't written any 20,000+ stories yet, and I've been doing at least one of those every year for the past several years. Maybe it's all this big banging going around, I'm starting to wish I did have a long wip, I like living in that headspace. But my brain seems to crave doing ficlets this summer, so I'm running with it.
