Wrote something for the Team Free Will schmoop meme, breaking all LJ comment character count limit laws as usual: Kingdom of Days, Dean/Lisa, ref. to past Dean/Castiel, Dean, Sam, Castiel, Lisa, Ben, Bobby, and Rufus for klutzy_girl's prompt, "family dinner night." Set well into Season 6.

Loved it, especially the scene in the kitchen with the guys cooking. This line was my favorite:
Dean couldn't remember the last time he sat at a table with this many people where it wasn't a council of war.
cause it's sad that they haven't gotten together with friends just for fun. Got a little teary at the toast to absent friends. Keep breaking the laws.
It makes for fun reading!

Thank you so much! ♥ Cooking a large meal requires quite a lot of teamwork, and I wanted to write Sam and Dean at a place where they were fitting together and okay again. Look at their issues as well as the expanded family.

Thank you so much! I'm a bit nervous about Sam's ambiguous appearance there at the end of the finale. Maybe the street lamp is just a street lamp burning out! But maybe if I get impatient waiting for new canon to explain, I'll write up my take. (I really want Sam to be all Sam and free of the will-he-turn-to-the-darkside question, even if he's got some freaky residual powers).
