He is an adorably geeky manic doctor. Also, he has floppy hair and is charmingly full of fail with his broken tardis and busted sonic screwdriver. Matt Smith seems to have the acting chops so far and is unexpectedly hot.

ETA1: My favorite thing about the new Tardis is the typewriter. Bwaha!
ETA2: Ahahaha, now that I want usericons and suchlike, I suddenly realized I have no idea where Doctor Who fandom keeps anything anymore because at some point in the past 6 months I ditched all my Doctor Who comms because I was very unhappy with RTD. Oops?
