Zombies and artichokes and SDCC shenanigans

Jul 26, 2009 21:34

Eep! With all the posts about the Supernatural SDCC panel to tempt me, how am I supposed to stick to my resolve to avoid spoilers? I'm hoisted by my own pitard of spoiler avoidance--I want at the antics of Jim Beaver and Misha Collins and yet can't. Click. OMG. For those who want to corrupt themselves, missyjack has posted the panel vid, or go to tracy_loo_who's round-up post here.

(Someone go watch and then come back and tell me how much I'll make happy dolphin noises without giving specifics, okay? <3<3)

I am a rock!

spngenlove has its first recs post up.

From Leverage fandom, there is The Chainsaw Job by annerbhp, in which team Leverage fights zombies. (Gen, with a hint of Parker/Hardison)

As seen all over my friendslist, I'm putting aside my RTD bitterness to link you to that ComicCon video of David Tennant kissing John Barrowman (and John Barrowman's reaction, bweee!)

Can I just say, artichokes are NOT to be trusted. First one of them stabbed me to avoid getting cooked, and then when I did cook it, it turned out to be half-rotten inside, despite its lovely green exterior. Since this has happened every time I've bought an artichoke in the past year (the half rotten part, not the being stabbed part), I'm giving up.
