The Breakfast Club:
Jack of Clubs (PG-13) Allison gets bored and finds a way to bring them all back together. Vivid and spot-on Allison pov. Being invisible meant that she could see things that other people didn't.
Arsenic and Old Lace:
Number Thirteen (PG) How Jonathan Brewster and Dr. Einstein wound up at the house in Brooklyn. Darkly funny, captures the tone of the movie and the time really well. I could just about hear Peter Lorre.
Aladdin (Disney movie):
Whole New World (PG-13) What happens to the fairy godmother (or in this case, the genie), after the story is over? Funny and poignant and spot-on Genie pov. Genie's never gonna leave Al, not now, no way, not in a million years.
10 Things I Hate About You:
10 Things I Hate About You (PG-13) Unsentimental, funny and sharp Kat/Patrick. "Tell me a lie," Patrick said.
The Princess Bride:
Paradise (PG) Fezzik's idea of paradise involves counting words. Wonderful and layered look at Fezzik, with a lot of Inigo on the side, about the two of them over the years.
