How interesting! (And a Justice League Unlimited story...interesting. Will have to check that out. Does that mean you are interested in the future movie thats a coming...)
The JLU this year was a very long, co-authored, crack!fic AU noir.
Because Bruce Wayne looks good in noir. *g* I'm actually incredibly proud of it, but didn't answer each question on the meme by fandom since I wrote only 1 story each in the other fandoms this year!
I'm interested in the movie, especially if they could do with JL what Batman Begins did for Batman, but with the strike I don't know when that'll get into production. The cool part is that I was explaining to a friend about why I like Friday Night Lights and how it kind of maps onto Justice League in terms of archetypes, only they play football instead of saving the world. And then rumor has it the actor who plays Jason Street has been cast as Superman (so. damn. perfect. There's even dialogue in the pilot ep for him that's a shout-out to Superman).
I have read that with the strike, we may not get casting confirmation until that's over.
That is awesome, re FNL as JLU archetypes. I want to hear this theory, hee. I don't know much about JLU but I do love Superman, Batman, etc stories on their own so I am very excited for the movie. Here's hoping anyway. Street would be perfect as Superman! I hope he gets it. Also hoping Adam Brody gets to be The Flash....
And hee I see how that would be hard. I might do this meme, it looks fun. Although I think I'd have to leave half the questions out. Don't like that one, and so on, hee!!
Some of the questions are hard, like, how do I answer that? It's tough to judge my own work, and more than one story was difficult to write, and more than one I liked how it turned out...maybe the meme should have "top 3" for each question or something
( ... )
WOW, hon! You wrote a lot of stories this past year! Twilight and Dust was lovely and not only because you wrote it for my birthday *g*, and the fact that it didn't get the feedback it deserved isn't necessarily due to the story itself. There are a lot of variables involved that have nothing to do with the quality of the story.
Keep up the good work and cheers foor another year of fic!
I thought hard before picking that one, because honestly, the fact that you were so pleased with it, and the other feedback it got, made me really happy. It's so hard for me to tell what worked and didn't of my own work, all I can tell is what *I* liked or didn't in my own work, and that one I classified as dissapointment because *I* really liked it but it didn't seem to reach a lot of people. But those it did reach, seemed to enjoy it. So a failure? I don't know.
*smish* I'm looking forward to seeing what you write this year!
