I went to Asheville on Friday after my morning Accounting class. I spent the day with Adryn and her dad. He is doing a lot better! The nurses say he could be out of the hospital and checked into a rehab center in as little as a couple days! Also, he was actually cognitive for this visit, so we were able to talk about a lot of stuff: how the accident happened, the events leading to the accident (he was conscious for the whole thing and even remembers the ambulance ride), his experience in the ICU, etc. The nurses also said that he is recovering abnormally fast. Adryn said something along the lines of, "Human bodies just don't heal this fast." Anyway, very glad to hear he is doing better.
Still putting off projects that I need to be working on. Fall break is the week after Adryn goes home, so I should be able to get some good progress done on those.
Still rocking the test grades! Nothing below an A yet, and only two grades out of eight lower than 98%.
I am enjoying school. For the first time in my life, I can say that I am actually enjoying my classes! It's a good feeling.
Off to bed.
