I just got back from a quick run to the local Petco (OMG we were out of cow hoofies!) which is, of course crawling with Cesar Milan books, treats, special enhanced water (whu???) and...WTF...stainless steel dog treat canisters.

I have to say that his marketing is very smart. If people are stupid enough to buy Cesar Millan water than let him become a millionaire off those idiots. That said, I had to roll my eyes when all saw all that crap. Looks like I will be avoiding Petco like the plague if they want to support Cesar. Not that I really shopped there anyhow, but even now and then I did.

Oh and if you don't hurry and buy a Dog Whisperer dog bed your dog is going to take over the world!

I only go in there to buy cow hoofies. Better quality food is available for less $$ at two other places in town -- including our no-kill humane society.

Sometimes I go in to buy cookies if I can't find the time to go anywhere else. I don't buy cookies often, so I probably walk into a Petco once every 6 months. I prefer to buy things from privately owned places if they have things I like.

That's great your no kill shelter sells good food for a good price. Smart of them!
