I love the sound of backpeddling in the, er, afternoon.

boulderlily wants to know how much she should micromanage her dog give her dog freedom to eliminate, and both tags and epilogues her post with odes to Cesar Millan.

Aside from what I'd personally consider an incredibly anal-retentive obsession with the every move and breath her dog makes and takes and a lack of familiarity with the phrase, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", I wouldn't find that in and of itself snark-worthy. She's got a brand new dog, it takes some time to learn to read a dog's signals and build a relationship, so okay, I can kind of see her question. Kind of.

The lulz come in the comments where our fearless OP first declares I really was just curious about other views about Cesar Millan, but then shows her lack of familiarity with the very wise admonition to be careful what one wishes for, lest one get it. Ask and ye shall receive,
boulderlily.

Whoops!  Never mind! I wasn't really curious at all now that I've been deluged with credible information that challenges my entrenched beliefs!

Also, way to completely, totally and utterly miss the point. If she hadn't already declared her completely closed and locked mind, I would be tempted to lay this on her and blow her mind: I taught my dog to loose leash walk with no leash corrections, if we're using Yanks Per Hour as a gauge now. Like, woah man. Heeaaavvvy!
