It's come to my attention over the past few posts, and I'm as guilty as the rest, that some of our posts are suffering from a lack of SNARK, and are more on par with bitching about SPOs. However, there's already another comm for that, it's called stupidpetowners.
Please take notice of the comm's rules, found on the community info page.
To clarify what a SNARK is, please peruse this definition:
SNARK (definition): Snark refers to a pejorative style of speech or writing. It could loosely be described as irritable or "snidely derisive"; hence, 'snarkish', 'snarky', 'to snark at somebody'. (The Urban Dictionary refers to it as a contraction of "snide remark".) It could less politely be described as 'bitchy'.
This post is not a SNARK, and I would encourage the poster to take it into the stupidpetowners community.
Furthermore, you shall see a 'laying of the smack down' on posts that are lacking in SNARKy goodness. No need to be mean, but commenting on lack of snark is definitely permissible.
Feel free to make fun of the asshattery that you all see, in the pet-related forums, but make sure there's a SNARK in it somewhere.
Personal vendettas are NOT welcome here.
