I had a fun day at work
I got to be on U-scan, and stand around listening to the bank manager - the fucking MANAGER - tell funny stories about the pets he's killed and maimed. (I work at Kroger's, and we have a Charter One inside the store).
I didn't think it could get worse after the "I put my rat in a glass tank with a wire lid which it kept pushing off so I put stuff on top of it and the rat smothered to death" story.
Then he started talking about ferrets. He let his ferret run around loose in his car. How you get to be a bank manager when you're that shit-sucking stupid is beyond me.
Guess what happened?
No, guess. It's easy. It's what anyone with a brain could tell you would happen.
The ferret got under the brake pedal. He pushed down on the brake and heard this scream -EEEEEEEE!!!! He made the sound effect, just like that - EEEEE!!! Oh, it's very funny. And he's Slamming on the break pedal trying to stop and the ferret's screaming and biting his shoe, and it's just such a FUNNY story. He "wanted to throw the stupid thing out the window" Because you know, ferrets understand car brakes. It did that just to fuck with him. ISN'T IT FUNNY? LOL. Sayth one of the two bank tellers that were sitting around laughing at this OH SO FUNNY story: "I WOULD have thrown it out the window." Everyone's laughing.
I don't know if it died or not.
I told my manager about it, because besides the fact that it made me want to throw up and hit things, if I can hear shit like that so can customers, and that's just not good business. She doesn't have any real power over what goes on back there but at least she can "address it."
Needless to say, I'm closing my account there. Ideally I'll be able to tell him why.
