Hey, why are the puppies at the animal shelter all unhappy and submissive?!? I don't want such a sucky lame-o puppy! I actually just sent that person an email explaining the really stressful nature of shelters and how dogs behavior there isn't necissarily indicative of how they'll behave at home. You'd think that would sort of be common sense (most people who go into the kennel area hold their ears and nose, so I'd assume they're aware of the excessive noise and icky chemical+poo+urine smell) but apparently not. Besides, aren't puppies supposed to be submissive? Isn't that what everyone wants? Calm submissive puppies? Come on people, TSST!
