Just so everyone knows, the pit bull breeder who alpha rolls boxes? Most of his dogs were taken away. He killed one of them by keeping it in his garage for 10 hours with no ventalation and it overheated (I posted it in stupidpetowners, I was too pissed off to snark when it was posted. Right now, I'm too lazy to link it)
Anyways, animal control was called on him. I told a manager that I get along with pretty well what he told me, and she called with his last name and address. Currently, he thinks I did it, and I am being assured that my job is not at risk as a result of these events. Anyways, now I will make fun of people.
I'll keep it work related. I bought a bag of innova evo for Penny cat before work, and one of the supliments specialists was asking about it. We get into regular pet talk, he has a beagle, I mention that I also have a dog. Another woman I work with walks up and joins the dog party. She has poodles. When i tell them Chalupa was suspected to be a mix od a border collie and a terrier, both say "Wow, she must be a handful!" and i say "She's good now, anyways. She went through 4 or 5 homes before I ended up with her." Beagle guy says "She's lucky she finally found a home!" Poodle woman says "Why would you waste your time with an already messed up dog that nobody wants? Yo should put your efforts into rescuing dogs who DON'T have behavior or health issues, because they get put down every day!"
Wow. So everyone in here who has a shelter dog with health or behavior problems, IT'S YOUR FAULT that the better dogs are being put down. GET RID of your defect animals and GET A BETTER DOG! Save a life that deserves to be saved!
