My puppy's only 3 months old and it's already the same size as my mature chi's!!!! That's completely normal, duh! I mean, she doesn't even really look like a chihuahua, but she MUST be one because we got her from a totally awesome breeder who sold her to us at 11pm! Those Petsmart people are sooooo dumb!!!

Lord... the puppy's legs are 3x the thickness of the other dogs'. My guess would be chi-pitbull mix, but I guess we'll see when she's full grown. Either she's going to remain in denial or she'll be posting in 6 months about how the breeder sold her a defective dog and she wants her money back.

sigh.

It's so true though... that puppy is big.

I dunno if I'd say Pit Bull, it's still pretty young to decide. I guess we'll see as it grows, y'know? I wouldn't be surprised if it was purebred, though... some pretty.. "amazing" things can come from BYBs.

You're right that it is too early to decide. That's how BYBs and pet shops get away with faking the breed!

I saw pitbull puppies recently that looked like her puppy, so that's immediately what I thought of. Plus, my sadistic side just thought it would be kind of funny if it was pitbull, since she didn't seem too pleased that someone had thought that's what the puppy was!
