Good morning, Starshine, the earth says HELLO! We have a very special treat in store today, courtesy of our good friends over at the
chihuahuas community. Unfortunately it is locked, so I will have to try to convey this rare level of rounded stupidity for everyone here not part of said community.
To start off your morning, we have a lovely appetizer of "
Thank you for recommending Greenies to me!" It appears that this user has been reading the community and feels that several people have supported the use of Greenies - which may be true, but no one commenting on the post seems to be of this opinion. And there are currently over 200 comments. Apparently the dogs loved them so very much that one if not both of the chihuahuas actually growled at their owner when she approached to see how they were doing in defense of their newfound starch treats. HOW CUTE.
But that's not all. In the post she also makes reference to her "outside dog." Why can't she talk about her "outside dog?" Well, these users have
the answer - including the obligatory defense of "
Don't pay any attention to Blaidd; he's an ass and never listens to a thing anyone says and is never ever right." A comment for which I would joyfully kick her in the teeth if I had the means to do so at this juncture. :) (Bonus highlights for the outside dog sub-thread: If it doesn't get cold, it's alright. Barns are alright. Porches are alright. Nevermind that the whole point of an inside dog is interaction and safety, not just climate control! Also -
I/my parents have ALWAYS had outside dogs and that makes it okay! Bullocks to the 21st century!)
Oh and that growling? It really is very cute! So cute in fact that it's cause for laughter!
No one would take my treats either, dammit, and behaviorist or trainers are overboard! That's for CRAZY PEOPLE. I let my dog growl all she wants because she's a small dog and liek, whut hram culd she posibly dooooo?
They even manage to bring children in. How dare we compare animals to a chyuld!?
ON WITH THE IRRATIONAL GENERALIZATIONS AND ABSOLUTES. Apparently because someone points out the dangers with having an outside-only dog, they feel that dogs should never go outside, nevermind that they've said in previous comments that outside time together is most enjoyable for all involved and obviously highly recommended. Oh, and because I don't agree with you, I hope your dog gets sick and dies. kthx done!
(Bonus Alternate Reality:
wizba and
into_focus are being soundly intelligent and agreeing with... well, Blaidd... which I was certain would cause either or both of them to immediately implode with unlikelihood.)
