I've been doing well on an emotional level, which pleases me most, and has my days turn out satisfying. I must keep it up. I feel that the start of the month of August is a good start from one year of misfortune. Not only that, but a chance to become more responsible with what I need to take care of, like getting a part time job, take initative on things, and figuring out what to major in college. Doing these things are for my sake and Rachael's sake. God, how I love that girl very much. I enjoy thinking about her and being with her.
So I've been playing a few PSP games I have obtained on my memory stick, since my disk drive is unable to close from a tripping-on-the-wire accident a month ago. I finished the Dracula X Chronicles from Castlevania like two weeks ago, and it was cool to play the remake of Rondo of Blood. Also, Symphony of the Night was in there and that was a great one to play as well. Thinking about remakes, I also got in my hands Megaman Maverick Hunter X. I never finished the SNES version before, which is lame, and I was thinking if I was able to beat the final final version of Sigma. When I faced him, he wasnt that bad. I figured out his fighting pattern after dieing a couple of times, then beat him. Good remake, I say.
Onto the import zone of PSP gaming, I've been into slashin' and shootin' in Gundam Seed Rengou vs Zaft portable. Being an arcade port, I found the gameplay to be impressive and fun to engage in. It mostly has the mechs and pilots from the original seed series, and a few of the main important main mechs and characters from Destiny. Lunamaria, yeah! >_>; Also, to add that the graphics are great for a PSP port of the series, along with an almost 60 frames per second throughout a deathmatch. It's a great Gundam fighter! I saw some footage of Gundam Battle Royale, and that plays similar to Rengou vs Zaft, and covers the early and classic Gundam series.
As a fan of the Bleach series, I went sword and sword with the AI in some Heat the Soul 3. Yeah, I know there's a fifth game of the series, but I wanted to start off on the 3rd one. Anyway, this fighter is a great button masher and you can be awesome after an hour of knowing a few moves and getting used to the controls. The gameplay is mediocre, however. I'm not too crazy about this fighter, but it's still good to kill some time if you're bored.
In the RPG catagory, I experienced the world of Valkyrie Porfile: Lenneth. The RPG elements in this game is pretty unique while you venture in 2-D plane dungeons and towns picking up souls who are about to die on Earth that can aid you in battle. So far it's fun, but its unique RPG elements is confusing me and learning things as I go on. Good thing I dont have to fork out more than $100 for the PSX version just to play this game.
Pressing buttons on the PSP and sitting in front of the computer has been pretty much my life almost the past week. I've been stuck at the house taking care of Nick, whose been laying down watching t.v. in the dark during the day and night. What is he? A vampire? Geez. So lately, things have been uneventful. I wonder what's up with Galvez and Fight for the Bag 4? Galvez beating the crap out of me as a ninja bag reaper was suppose to happen last Saturday, but I never heard anything from him. Seems like he's been busy with personal stuff, I assume.
Well, that's all for now. I'll post more in the future.
