Hmmm, I seem to have this uncanny knack for scheduling my vacations at a time when shit and fan seem to be coming together in a big way >_>. Which is fine by me. Though I was very irked to see I they tried to schedule me for the 29th. First, I did ask for it off and I do have it here in writing that having said day off was approved. I am also flying out that morning at 11am. Sorry, but I will be hopefully somewhere over New Brunswick at the time they want me to work. Not changing my plans especially when it was approved two months ago to have said day off. >_<
And apparently there's some grand plan to switch me to evening shifts. A plan I am not at all keen on. They're lousy hours and it's a huge pain for me to try to get to work at 2pm. Though this would explain why my boss has never bothered to hire another night time phleb. *sighs*
I have only four free days left to finish my shopping and packing for vacation. It should be all good. I'm not normally a list sort of person but I've found they are nice to have before jetting off half around the globe. And I actually found time to write and double-check mine last night (ah, I love slow nights. Fit in time for a movie and general lazing about! Whee!)
Oooh, Alternators were restocked since I was last at the store. They had over a dozen, including two Sunstreakers, two Rollbars and the rest were Skids and Ricochet. Damn, wish I was not trying to save my money or I would have bought one of each. :p
