It's the final countdown! Leaving to catch the plane to London in about an hour here. Praying I remembered to pack everything. Sadly only have a week there, but with the way things have been going at work I'm grateful for even that much time away from the daily grind.
I'm hoping to have enough time to stop at the local uni library and snag some articles I need for writing research. I really just need to up and move closer to said library. It has far too many of the sort of books that make history nerds like me happy. Nothing like the smell of old books!
