Happy Holidays, all!!

Ok, just a quick entry to say happy holidays to everyone and to talk about my time in Paris.

So, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! Whatever you're celebrating right now, make sure to spend time with your friends and family, laugh and eat alot of food and basically have a good time. And wishing everyone a safe and happy 2006.

So, Paris. It was...pretty damn amazing. Here's briefly what I saw..

Sacre Coeur - honestly one of the most amazing, life alteringly beautiful things I've ever seen. Makes you really think about life. It's hard to explain, but I felt like it was the type of place you have an epiphany.

Eiffel Tower - Not nearly as impressive as everyone makes out. Much smaller than I expected, and not all that pretty either.

L'Arc de Triomphe - awesome. Just plain cool.

Champs Elysses - For those who don't know, the big street that runs off L'Arc de Trimphe. Full of beautiful, expensive shops, lots of big brands.

Galeries Lafayette - Huge shopping centre. Lots of big names, like Prada and Gucci, with velvet ropes and bouncers to control who gets in. And no, I did not make that up.

Musee Grevin - Wax museum. Very cool, got my photo taken with Einstein.

Ummmm....yeah duh Disneyland - Crowded and loud and incredibly expensive and completely I-can't-feel-my-feet-exhausting, but also totally magical all the same. I spent way too much money on gifts.

Today is obviously Christmas and I got some nice stuff, nail polish and beautiful ring which is my new favourite piece of jewellery, a nice top and some perfume.

However, the best present was a phone call from my mum. She's good, sounds like she misses me alot. She said she had a cry watching Carols by Candlelight last night cos we watch it together every year.

She says my baby girl (my dog Bella) is very sad, moping and sleeping alot. I miss my puppy!!!

My sisters are all good, they sound happy.

France is...wonderful. My host family is great, I'm really close with my 'parents'. Camille my host sister is fantastic, a really good person. I cannot wait until she comes to Australia next June to stay with me.

I have three weeks left. It's odd, because the more homesick I get, the more I like it here too. It's like, I'm not desperate to get home, but I'm not desperate to stay either. I sort of don't mind either way.

Anyway I best be off. Gotta get ready for Chrissy lunch. And yes, I know Christmas is basically finished where most of you guys are, but it's just started here.

Love you all to itty bitty pieces.
