High Bridge resident dies after crash near Bloomsbury bridge.

From staff reports
Two people died in separate weekend crashes, authorities report.

In Greenwich Township, a Hunterdon County woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday night.

Siobhan M. Hanly, 26, of Pleasant Drive, High Bridge, was driving a 1999 Pontiac west on Route 173
near the Route 579 intersection, township police said.

The Pontiac drifted off the road onto an embankment, striking several trees and two road signs.

After traveling about 300 feet, the vehicle struck a utility pole and came to rest in a driveway, police said.

The 11:18 p.m. crash is under investigation by township police.

Also responding to the crash scene were police from Pohatcong and Lopatcong townships, the
Stewartsville Fire Department, the Greenwich Township Emergency Squad, along with firefighters and
rescue squad members from Bloomsbury. ..
