it's bullshit living in a police state. not being able to park your car on the street without having to pay a meter, not being able to get to your hostel without showing an ID, not being able to get on an airplane without taking of my shoes, or opening up my bag and watch some stranger unpack all my stuff that i so delicately placed. worst of all, i can't skateboard in a big empty parking lot with no cars, no traffic, just a bunch empty parking spaces. why? because the 35 year old rent a cop has to tell me no. i'm not damaging property, i'm not causing a scene, i'm just doing my thing and having some fun.
it's like playing the best soccer game of your life and getting struck by lighting halfway through the game.
