Thanks! It was my art project for the month of April, that's for sure. Took for-freaking-ever to write. I was worried it was so long that no one would read it, though, so I'm glad you did.

I didn't actually slip it in to the regular Wikipedia entry, deciding finally it would be slightly more lame than it would be cool to do so.

I don't think many Wiki pranksters write 3-page entries complete with dozens of fully-functional links, though. Mostly their work is limited to proclaiming themselves the biggest AFI fan and substituting a picture of a vagina for the headshot on the entry for Nancy Pelosi (both actually happened).

Man, Stephen Colbert is pretty much the funniest man in the history of forever. I can't believe I missed that site. Useage of "tubes" gets an A++. I need to get some of the ice cream one of these days, too.

I submitted this to BoingBoing. We'll see if it's interesting to anyone who isn't one of my friends.

Yeah, since I suck at any form of art and 12 years of trying to be a musician only taught me that I suck at that, too, I've tried to focus my artistic endeavors on writing, which I'm pretty good at.

I came up with the idea to do that a couple weeks ago, around his death anniversary, but never had time to do it until this weekend. Sort of fanfic for music nerds.

The first 2 1/2 paragraphs are lifted from the real entry, though, since I wanted to ease into it and not start on April 8, 1994. Felt that'd be too jarring.

Hmm... never done that before. Since this post is public (w/non-friend screening) I could, though. I don't know if my BoingBoing skillz0rz are as l337 as yours, though.
