I love Halifax Feast Dinner Theatre. Went last night with my mom, my aunt, and my grandmother. It was hilarious. My face hurts from laughing so much. For anyone who doesn't know, the actors are also your waiters, and ours was "Dory MacRury", aka Richie Wilcox. So not only does your waiter give you food, they usually have you do something to cheer them on during the play. I got to hold a "Marry me Dory" sign and cheer and whatnot. I nearly died. It was so funny. He was going on about all the lays he got and the one he got standing up in a bathroom stall, turns towards me while I'm holding the sign, and says "Obviously that meant a lot to you Jessica." So later at the table I told him I was terribly upset that he had so publicly turned down my proposal. He said he wasn't ready for a commitment, and besides, it was only four minutes in a bathroom stall. And during the part where they pull audience members onstage, he picked me! It was so much fun! A little weird, cause I was easily taller than most of the guys onstage, but definately cool.
So besides Dory, there was a "Hyman Scowell", one of the sexiest guys I've ever seen. He was hilarious. The host was a flamboyantly gay man. At the end, one of the guys was wearing leather pants. Yum.
There was a pregnant smoker, a coffee addict, and a former fattie turned gym teacher. Leather pants "won" by default cause the smoker went into labour.
Well, that's it I guess. Hopefully will see everyone soon.
