If you told someone you trusted something someone had said about them, inconfidence, and with the firm belief that anyone else listening without being involved in the conversation would have the decency to respect your wishes, how pissed off would you be, if the eavesdropper then told as many people as she possible fucking could, including the person who had said the thing in the first place?
