So ran in to a flurry of dumb articles on how Newsroom is misogynistic. I think that an individual evaluation of each female character and picking out how they are portrayed as irrational, hyper-emotional, and stupid, etc is unfair to the negative portrayal of the male characters who are assholes, unsympathetic, uninvolved and stupid.
It's a very one-sided conversation and I disagree that it is anti-woman in particular. I think it is kind of anti-human (almost put anti-American but I don't really mean that as such) and come on, a television who with characters that are charicatures? Shock!
Anyway, I am enjoying it.
I am typing on my computer which is not set up in our house, next to EP's computer for the first time since New Orleans.
