Why with the neglecting?
So, looking over old posts I realise, I suck at this frequent updating thing...
Now when I get home from work each day I log in to Livejournal and read what's been going on with you folk, every now and then I think, "hmm... so and so hasn't updated. Damn them! How do they expect me to keep up with their lives if they don't update!" *shakes fist menacingly*
Teehee, feeling a bit sheepish now...
Then again, if I were to up date daily, or even bi-weekly my posts would look somethine like:
Went to work, answered phones, despised lawyers (some) ogled at pretty lawyers (or Hotties as Audrey refers to them) answered phones. Went home, curled in to bed, cried my self to sleep at the realization of my mundane existence"
...
Ok the last bit is a a wee bit of an exaggeration, I do go out, I see people... some times...
Also, when I'm at work I get so bored that any challenge that arises I beat down like a dragon against a moth!! um... I'm the dragon by the way.
For example, a small hitch jumped up in my MA application (I was misinformed of the deadline) so I was told I wouldn't be able to apply.
Did I leave it at that?
No I didn't! (The only other thing to do was sit there and twiddle my thumbs.)
So I called the university, I haggled, I debated, I argued, I eventually won!
Oh yeah!
I got a phone call 15 minutes before the university closed for the evening and the lovely lady said, "Ok, it's all sorted, we've submitted your application, and we'll contact you when you get the place."
Yes!!!
um... actually, uh-oh... I don't want the place this year... I want it next year when I'll be a mature student and can afford it...
Silly Zoe!
So, moral of the story... never let Zoe be bored. Or challenge her when she is, and the results will prove both amusing and perhaps fruitful.
