Entering a New Dark Age?
The world is going completely mad; oppression and intolerance are creeping in everywhere.
I'm afraid I let an awful lot of it slide past me; I just don't have time to write all the protest posts and letters of complaint that I would like to. I didn't even speak out against my favourite comm banning stories about people doing LEGAL things because it is ILLEGAL for people in Australia to read about them. I couldn't see a way of expressing my strength of feelings without getting banned from the comm myself.
But now this is followed by the Government of New Zealand passing an act which can get people's Internet connection cut off simply because someone accuses them of copyright infringement. That's "accuses". Not "finds them guilty".
So I've blacked out my icon as requested, with thanks to Gritsinmisery for the heads-up.
