Snowpiercer S3 Ep1 - The Tortoise and the Hare

.
2:53 No idea what the bloke said to the little girl or what she said back to him. Sounded like "Winnipeg!" / Um sa piz a carp"

Opening credits: Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, Lena Hall, Iddo Goldberg, Roberto Urbina, Steven Ogg, Katie McGuinness, Sheila Vand, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Rowan Blanchard, Chelsea Harris. With Archie Panjabi and Sean Bean. Fuck's sake, I know the "and" is supposed to be good, but surely last season he was only behind Diggs, Connolly and Hall?

Who is this annoying woman giving orders to Layton and Till? I find out ten minutes later she's Josie.

15:05 Nice profile shot of Wilford where you can see Sean's beautiful bone structure and not the wrinkles. Not that keen on the grey beardy look though.

16:20 "A cull!" suggests Kevin. "Sorry to disappoint, Kevin," says Wilford, "but - minus an arm or two - we keep everyone as alive as possible so Audrey stays as alive as possible."

18:28 "Maybe are past are jug nose" wtf

20:40 Javi looks like a zombie. Wilford appears to be using Jupiter (the dog) to make him stay at the controls.

22:50 Good jack-booting music as Ruth and ?? move their secret operations base on the sub-train.

Honestly, every time I see Wilford I just want to go back and see Sharpe again.

This programme is just a bit too stressful. Everything's always going wrong for everybody and there's not enough Sean.

OK, stopping for tonight at 32:58.

Watched the rest on 14th March. There are odd bits that are interesting but as a whole it really isn't as good as it could be. Chief problem, of course, is a severe lack of Sean Bean, who is the only reason I'm watching this at all.

Odd how Kevin seems more evil and repulsive than Wilford. Mind you, I never did like that kind of clean-shaven plastic slightly robotic look.

45:20 The music in this episode is seriously tedious. Nightclub music. Torch singers, I think they used to be called?
