Snowpiercer Ep 2.10 - Into the White - Reaction Post

.
Hold on, he controlled her from the age of 10?

Alex: "The engine has a secret entrance to Wilford's bedroom"

For the first time I'm thinking I really want to watch these two eps again.

Ooh, a close-up of the swords. I still think he should have a 1796 Pattern Heavy Cavalry sword in there. Warranted never to fail.

Damn, how's Ben going to get out of this? Well, he did. But where is Wilford during all this? He's surely going to notice the turn immediately?

I'm really not that keen on Sean being the bad guy!

19:45 He's noticed they're on the test track.

And suddenly he's got his hair slicked back, it was loose and forward a minute ago, which suits him much better.

22:45 A look I've never seen on Sean's face before - wide eyed, quite scary. Almost horrified.

Melanie in sight.

Dammit, Wilford has taken the seat and he's speeding up.

Ah, this is where the flaming wheels come in. All this time I didn't realise what we were watching was what we'd already seen from Melanie's viewpoint weeks ago.

That ravine looks fucking scary. At this rate Wilford's going to have them over the edge of it. he's speeding up, Ben is putting the brakes on.

So this is the scene we saw several weeks ago, only now from on the train. 20 mins of the ep to go.

Holy fuck she just slashed him in the neck.

I'm not fully understanding all this, I just want to know how it ends.

34:00 Layton: I'm not here to fight

Wilford: "No?" He actually looks really unhappy here, given that his next line is pretty sassy. "That's your conversation axe, is it?"

I think Layton was actually about to off Audrey there. And now Josie's breached the aquarium from above when Wilford's expecting it to be from below. Hold on, the Headwoods sent her out there, whose side are they on?

So is Wilford in the back half with Layton and Ruth, like he wasn't supposed to be? [ETA doesn't look like it when they're looking at Melanie's data.]

And now Alex and Layton are walking through the snow. I am so confused.

Wow, Melanie's dead? There's a lot of people going to stop watching for that. Though this show has a consistent habit of bringing people back from the apparent dead - Wilford, Josie, Kevin to name just the ones I'm aware of.
