weekend
The weekend started out awesome, but came to a slightly screeching halt.
Friday night Brian and I went to dinner at Palomino and then to Cabaret with Andy and Dan (Andy's college roommate visiting from San Fran). Both dinner and the show were on the very good side, but not quite spectacular. After Cabaret, we all went out to Ray's in Lawrenceville for a slightly misnomered "dance party." Saw Dave, Mike, Kelley, Richard; had some beers. All in all, it was a very fun night, but!
Dan had been losing his voice and complaining of a sore throat and I woke up Saturday morning with an incredibly sore throat and achy all over. Curse!
So, other than a trip to the post office Saturday morning, the rest of the weekend was spent lounging on the couch, drinking water, watching TV and playing video games. I'm not feeling too bad today, just like someone went at the inside of my head with a cheese grater.
One of the things that occupied me on the tv this weekend was Kontroll. We had this sitting out from netflix for a couple of months, but just never felt inclined to watch it. Which is a shame because it was excellent. I have no recollection of how it was recommended to me (if it was you, feel free to take credit), but I'm so glad that we finally got around to watching it.
