Month after the battle, Harry’s physical wounds were somewhat healed, but not his emotional ones.
He blamed himself and no amount of others telling him otherwise mattered.
One day, he walked to the Burrow’s pond and found Ginny. His heart warmed a little at her sight.
She smiled at him. Harry’s pain seemed to ebb away more.
After an hour of talking to her, looking at her brown eyes, the weight on his chest loosened a bit.
When Harry kissed her, pain had gone down significantly. It reminded him of Fawkes’ tears and healing powers.
With Ginny, healing had begun.
