For my first entry this 2009, I would list down my resolutions but in a less adamant way of stating it. Instead of using "will do", I would rather use "might do" for 2009. No pressure! Here are the things that I might do:
1. Take care of my body and continue on the therapy.
2. Resume on hitting the gym come January and lose that holiday belly.
3. Stay and grow for a year (at least) in my current work.
4. Reply to text messages (even if it is not so important.)
5. Invest for a new laptop and get that business phone.
6. Be wiser in making decisions.
7. Personally look out for my dogs' needs.
8. Clean my room at least twice a month.
9. Drink but don't get drunk.
10. Read books more often.
11. Prepare for my MA.
12. At least one trip out of the country.
13. Plan and be less spontaneous.
14. Invest in a mutual fund.
15. Be more optimistic and a happy camper.
16. Push for those "good omens" along the way.
17. Forgive and try to forget.
18. Be more passionate with my goals.
19. Pray, not look, for the "one"
20. Always thank God.
21. Do at least half of this, hehe
This is quite a lot. But then again, I won't pressure myself looking up to this and be reminded constantly. What is more important for me upon doing this is that I am aware of the changes that would hopefully make things and myself better. This also pounds more of my optimism towards the new year. Just the right attitude to start it.
Cheers to the new year!
