Maybe this was a bad idea
Sometimes, all your high hopes don't mean shit. The frightening reality is that you can't change the current state of things in your life. You have to endure what has already been set in motion. You can only change the future state of things, and this is accomplished by changing your actions. I've got a lot to think about. Scratch that. I've got a lot of work to do.
Jerry's house last night was like good old times. Uncontrollable bursts of laughter. Good music. High spirits.
It was also good new times, though. ;)
Is it weird when two of your friends start dating? I know it was weird for me when Keith and Chanelle became a couple. I mean, they were always an item, those two. But when they became an old married couple... yeah, that was kind of weird. They seem to be a good fit, though.
It's strange how the dynamics of relationships can change when one starts dating someone. Friends, parents, crushes, aquaintences.
On Thursday, I'm going with Jay to apply at California Pizza Kitchen. The money there is pretty good, I hear. I'd like to keep the petshop job, just because I enjoy working with animals. It gives me quite a bit of purpose.
Things are upside-down right now in my head. I'm still reeling, it seems.
Things have to turn around soon, because all areas of my personal life have suffered greatly in the past few months because of my state of mind.
