(no subject)
wow. i've been such a crappy livejournal user lately. *LJ slacker* i'm going to try to fix that and post more often.
the past 2 days have been incredibly amusing.
thursday shirley and i flooded the chem lab. we had this rubber tube thing connected to the water faucet and going into a condenser for our experiment. we finished what we were doing so i went to turn off the water....but i accidently turned the water on more. so the damn tube flys off of our apparatus thing and the water flys and hits me in the face and then the tube falls right onto my lab notebook. so there is water gushing onto my notebook in a fucking puddle and shirley goes to turn off the water but she does the same thing i did and turned it on even more and the hose went crazy and water shot across the lab at the window. we totally flooded the floor around us. it was way too amusing, we were practacly rolling around on the floor laughing our asses off in a fucking puddle. then we went to the Law building cafeteria and met elizabeth, diana, theresa, alison, maria, matt and mike. wow. i'm not even getting into the conversation that followed. all i have to say is we were all way to hyper and all the other people sitting around us must have hated us and thought we were the biggest freaks ever. i laughed way too much that day....my throught still hurts.
yestderday after class i hung out in Marillac lounge with maria, diana, theresa, frank and al. we played the slut game (a.k.a. "never have i ever") and definately scared away al and frank...then travis came while we were talking about really odd sick things and we scared him too. ha. we frightened all the boys. there was a tour going on and travis tried to get me and diana to make out in front of it. we probably would have but we couldnt stop laughing.
then shirley came over to my house and we watched American History X. oh man....such a great movie. shirley and i realized that we were even bigger dorks than we thought we were cause we realized that Edward Norton's character is kinda like a modern day Tragic Hero. sorta. we have our reasoning....which i wont bore you all with. mmmm.....edward norton with facial hair and all built and naked.....*drool*
after shirley went home, i hung out with john. he's so cute when he's being dorky. we hung out in Barnes and Nobles for a while. we went to the New Age section and i tried to read his palm while he flipped through this book about mystical animals and monsters and he covered up the name below the picture to see how many he already knew. actually he knew quite alot, i was rather impressed. he's way too good with remembering useless information. then i found this book called "the art of sex" oh man....it was animated. so great. that book provided hours of amusement....and not in a sick way....in a dorky 12-year-old-boy way: "haha...the little people are doing it doggie style" and "haha....he's masturbating" actually those pictures were quite graphic. john just laughed at me for being so immature and acting like a 12 year old boy. and one of the men was old and bald and fat...probably the author in picture form......it was not very actractive.
then we "hung out" in my car for a while. heh heh. ;)
(now shirley is making "the face") ha.
so these past two days have been really good. its wierd. just one week ago was literally the week from hell. my friend's mom died. my other friend's aunt died. kevin had emergency surgery. everything sucked and everything was going wrong. and i was thinking about this time last year and how beyond miserable i was.
and these past two days i think i've laughed more than i have in my life (or came very close to it) and tonight we're all going out for liz's birthday. it just goes to show you how important it is to have great friends. and i truly have some of the best. thanks guys.

i'm using the "happy" icon for my current mood....i cant even remember the last time i was able to use it and really mean it.
