I received an owl today from my parents on plans for this summer, and it seems we're returning to Japan for the majority of it for a...family conference, of sorts. They have given me the go ahead to invite someone along, as I never have anything to do at these things, and I was wondering if perhaps you'd care to accompany me?

My...family? Well...you've met my parents on several occasions. The vast majority of us are all well steeped in tradition. My grandfather still runs a dojo, and probably will until he dies.

Then we'll definitely have to go. Yes. There are always several fireworks shows at each, usually every night of the festival.

Most likely. ...My brother will probably be there. He decided to stay in Japan when it came time for us to move.

It'll be nice to be thousands of miles away from...everyone. ...Oh? Ah, I see. Well, it should only be July and August. People occasionally start gathering earlier (we're very scattered) but things don't officially start until July.

And I would very much like to see you play again.
