Long Time
It has been an extremely long time since I have written in this journal, but today, i just think I need to. My sister just recently found out that she is pregnant, and she is due sometime in late February. This is extremely wonderful news. Mike and I just got an apartment in Lebanon, and it is extremely wonderful except that it doesn't allow cats. It was ok though because my sister told me she would take Finnigan and love him as her own. Since she became pregnant, however, she has been afraid of contracting a disease from him during her pregnancy (which can cause birth defects). Her doctor also advised her not to take him. So, here I am, one month from graduating and moving home, and now I learn that I don't have a place for my cat to go. I understand why she can't take him, but now I'm going to have to give him to a shelter...(and no kill shelters are so hard to get into) I'm going to try my hardest to make sure he gets in to somewhere good, but this whole situation is just frustrating. ugh! Anyway, venting is always a fun thing. I'm thinking this whole livejournal thing might have to start up again. It just really helps to write things down sometimes. I hope everyone is having a great summer.
