birthday post...
so yep, i turned 24 today. i remember back when i was a child, birthdays were something i looked forward to for weeks on end but these days, they just pass you by so quickly. but at least i have great people around me as i turn older; that's all that matters. and now some random comments.
i love driving on the 490 Inner Loop when no one else is there because I feel like I'm in racing videogame and I'm speeding around these curves and under bridges at 85 mph. sometimes, i'll circle the loop twice if i'm early for work.
i was filling my car up with gas yesterday and i couldn't take my eyes off the flight patterns of those birds that have perched themselves all over the city; on telephone wires, tree branches, building roofs, and etc... It's just amazing how hundreds of them can seamlessly shift patterns without breaking up and the way they glide on the wind like a school of fish. I'm sure everyone here knows what I'm talking about; it's a great thing to behold.
I've been taking fruit from the office basket here at the agency and giving it to the homeless that I drive by sometimes at intersections downtown. but i think i'm gonna stop giving it to this one dude who had blood all over his beard yesterday. thank god for my sunroof; i use it to toss the fruit out so they don't go bonkers on me and try to yank me through the window.
gap sucks these days. either that or their clothes just don't look good on me but i did get an amazing jacket from there and some damn hot underwear. but i'm still a major AE whore; i loathe their blatant advertising but hey, when their clothes are this comfortable, i can let it slide.
looking forward to PF Changs tonight with the gang. yay.
