Sooooo....I skipped church and went golfing this morning. It was very bitterly cold. But I still managed to shoot a 40, so I guess it was ok. And I got two birdies in a row.
Then I came home and was looking at phones and decided, hey what the heck, and me and my sister drove down to St. Cloud and bought new phones today. So I have a new cell phone number...I'm not gonna put it on here though. You can ask me for it, or call my old cell number and it's on my voicemail. Ohh, it's Cingular too, free calling to my cool cousins in PA...er well, Missouri and Texas.
I did alot of driving today. My sister rode home from Fargo with my dad Thursday so she didn't have a car, and since we went to St Cloud her ride had already left, so yup, you guessed it, I brought her home. So I drove to St. Cloud, back to my house, then to Fargo and back, all in all, a little over 300 miles.
So I'm coming to the conclusion that it's better to be out living your faith than to be a "mouse trapped in church". I know christian fellowship is good, and worship is good, and you need to be built up. But it seems that people get so focused on being in church that they forget the other 6 days of the week to live it. Maybe in order to get out of the rut, we need to go to where the rut starts...church...
May you live your life pleasing to God. And when you are doing well, to never seek a crown.
